Landry-Walker's Devonta Jason spent the better part of the season making his case to be the top receiver in the state as well as one of the top receivers in the country.
Saturday in the Charging Buccaneers 50-21 Class 5A championship win against West Monroe, Jason, a 2018 prospect, tallied 93 yards on seven catches and scored three touchdowns. Each score was spectacular and showed why the 6-3, 190-pound four-star prospect had LSU's eye before the start of his sophomore season.
