The Arkansas Razorbacks picked up their sixth 2018 commitment and the first from Louisiana on Sunday.

Riverside running back Jeremy Gibson pledged to Arkansas via Twitter.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pounder is a solid all-around back with balance, which has helped him in the Rebels offense.

He was named to the 2016 All-Metro Small Schools Football Team and was the second-ranked rusher in small schools in yardage with 955 on 162 carries in the regular season and 13 touchdowns. In the state championship game in December 2016, Gibson rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown.

Gibson has additional scholarship offers from Utah, Missouri, Tulane, Purdue, Arizona State, Southern Miss, Kent State, Southeastern, Marshall, South Alabama, Troy, Colorado State, McNeese State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Texas Tech and Nicholls State.
