Angel Reese is off to the WNBA.
Reese was selected in the first round, seventh overall, by the Chicago Sky in Monday night’s WNBA Draft. She is the fourth LSU player drafted in the Kim Mulkey era, joining Alexis Morris and LaDazhia Williams last year and Khayla Pointer the year before.
Reese declared for the WNBA Draft two days after LSU’s season came to an end in the Elite 8 against Iowa. Reese announced her intentions via an interview/photoshoot with Vogue Magazine.
“I’ve done everything I wanted to do in college,” Reese told Vogue. “I’ve won a national championship, I’ve gotten SEC Player of the Year, I’ve been an All-American.
