Prairie Artisinal Ales out of Tulsa, Okla., has become one of the more vogue craft outlets that's spreading around the country. They're known for some really different names and bold flavors. And some pretty cool label artwork.
Today's entry is a sour pale ale brewed with simcoe hops.
Bouquet is almost like a hoppy lemonade-flavored sports drink. The texture is really soft and light, and really refreshing for warm weather -- although if you're ballin' enough to session Prairie's stuff, good on you. They're not typically cheap. You get a little bit of lemon-y sweetness, not bitter before it dips into the sour flavor.
