Four-star cornerback Shyheim Carter was the lone top-10 in-state recruit in Louisiana who didn’t sign with LSU in Feburary. Carter, who signed with Alabama, says the Tigers never were a real possibility.
Carter, who is from Kentwood, La., chose the Tide over Ole Miss, and as for not considering LSU, he says it’s personal.
“I just don’t like ’em,” Carter told SECCountry.com. “There’s something about ’em I just don’t like. I mean, LSU’s a great school, phenomenal school, but it’s just something personal I don’t like about ’em.”
Carter became the latest highly ranked Louisiana native to sign with the Tide.
