LSU stayed red-hot on the recruiting trail yesterday, following up Thursday’s commitment of safety CJ Jimcoily with one from WR Phillip Wright. The 5-11, 175-pound speedy in-state receiver from Destrehan had been committed to Michigan before attending LSU’s Bayou Splash event and having a change of heart. During his visit to LSU, coaches from the football and track programs described to Wright how they would utilize his elite speed and left him with offers to participate in both programs, which struck a cord.
