It goes without saying that this year’s Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl between No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Washington will be the biggest in the bowl’s history, but that’s actually saying quite a bit. In the 1990s, the game moved into the Georgia Dome, signed agreements with the SEC and ACC and became the most successful non-BCS bowl of that era.
