Coveted wide receiver recruit Derek Meadows committed to play his college football at LSU on Saturday.
According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, Meadows chose LSU over several other high-profile programs, including Alabama, Notre Dame and Georgia, and explained his decision by saying: "To be the best you must outwork the rest, and LSU was the place to do it."
Meadows is a 4-star recruit in 247Sports' composite rankings, and is rated as the No. 68 overall player, No. 10 wideout and No. 1 player from the state of Nevada in the 2025 class.
