4-star safety Todd Harris picks LSU over Alabama

The decision is in from four-star safety Todd Harris, and he’s going to be playing college football in his home state. Harris signed with LSU on Wednesday.

Harris (6 feet 0, 180 pounds) starred for Plaquemine (La.) High. An Under Armour All-American, Harris found himself in the middle of a tug-of-war between SEC West powers Alabama and LSU, a contest that he described earlier as a “wild ride.”

At LSU, Harris has the potential to play right away as the Tigers look to replace NFL-bound safety Jamal Adams. His signing gives the Tigers three of the state’s top-10 recruits for 2017.
