LSU continues to bolster its top-ranked 2016 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star offensive tackle Willie Allen, who pledged his services to the Tigers on Thursday.
Allen chose LSU over SEC West rivals Auburn and Ole Miss, as well as TCU from the Big 12. The 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive tackle made his official visit to the Tigers’ Baton Rouge, La. campus last week, and was expected to visit both Auburn and Ole Miss in the coming days.
Since Allen is forgoing his final official visits and declaring his commitment two weeks before the February 3rd National Signing Day, it is safe to assume that his official visit to Baton Rouge went well.
