Four-star linebacker Damone Clark committed to LSU in January, and he still is locked into that commitment.
“Of course I’m still committed to LSU, but right now during my senior season I’m thinking strictly about football,” Clark told GN. “After our last game of the year, then I’ll be back to worrying about my recruitment and things like that.”
Clark (6 feet 3, 218 pounds), from Baton Rouge (La.) Southern University Lab School, is among the top 15 inside linebackers in the country for the 2018 class and a top-300 prospect overall.
Clark was familiar with the ins and outs of the recruiting process after watching high school teammate Christopher Allen (a 2017 Alabama signee) go through it before him.
