Three-star defensive tackle Neil Farrell has committed to LSU.
Farrell, a class of 2017 prospect from Murphy High School in Mobile, Alabama, made his announcement Tuesday night on Twitter.
The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Farrell gives LSU its 18th commitment in the 2017 class, which 247Sports ranks fourth nationally (third in the SEC). He joins four-star Tyler Shelvin as Tigers defensive tackle commitments in the class.
Farrell, who has 16 other offers including Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, USC and Michigan, is ranked as a top-40 defensive tackle nationally and a top-25 prospect in Alabama, according to 247Sports Composite.
