LSU football missed on five-star defensive lineman Jordan Burch during the early signing period in December.
But they might have another chance to land the stud recruit, thanks to Burch’s decision to not sign during the early signing period.
Burch, 6-foot-5/275 lbs from Columbia, SC, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings the No. 1 player in the state of South Carolina and the No. 2 defensive tackle in the nation.
The South Carolina native committed to the Gamecocks in December, but decided to delay his signing until February, which left the door open for LSU.
Burch, who took a visit to LSU this past weekend, recently told 247Sports that South Carolina didn’t do anything to “separate themselves”, he just felt he needed to make a decision.
