National signing day is here, and some of the biggest moves in college football are becoming official.
Quarterback Arch Manning, the No. 2 recruit in the class, put pen to paper and signed his national letter of intent to Texas. Arch, the nephew of Super Bowl champions Peyton and Eli, committed to the Longhorns in June and gives them a talented signal-caller with good arm strength and mobility to keep plays alive.
But many top prospects ultimately flipped their commitments. No. 3 QB Dante Moore flipped his commitment from Oregon to UCLA right before the early signing period, and the Ducks responded by poaching an ESPN 300 quarterback of their own, flipping Austin Novosad from Baylor.
