2020 NFL Draft: Kansas City Chiefs Select Clyde Edwards-Helaire 32nd Overall

With the final pick of the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, LSU had one more Tiger get selected as the Kansas City Chiefs took running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Edwards-Helaire was a force both running the ball and catching it out of the backfield. Edwards-Helaire ran for 1,414 yards and caught 55 passes. Now he has the good fortune of going from playing with reigning Heisman trophy winner Joe Burrow to reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes,

LSU had five former Tigers selected in the first round. While it was one shy of the 2004 Miami Hurricanes record, it did set a new school record breaking the mark of four Tigers picked in 2007.
