Les Miles, despite success with the LSU Tigers, has found himself on the hot seat after three straight losses. The latest rumor is that Miles told the Gridiron Club, an LSU booster group, that Miles won't be coaching in the team's bowl game.
The Tiger Rag first reported that Miles told the boosters that Saturday's game against Texas A&M will be his last. The Times-Picayune backed up those claims later.
"He didn't use those words but he made it clear that Saturday is his last game," one Gridiron club member told The Times. "He said, 'We're a second family to him and he's going to miss us, he appreciates his real friends, and then he told us good-bye ... It was very emotional but in control."
However, LSU is contradicting the report.
Contrary to media reports, #LSU coach Les Miles has not resigned nor did he indicate he was resigning when speaking to booster group today.

"He was basically using it as an opportunity to thank them because he wasn't sure if he'd be in front of them again," LSU SID Michael Bonnette said. "He by no means resigned or gave any indication of tomorrow being his last game at all."
Miles has posted a 110-32 record with LSU and even won a National Championship. If LSU fires Miles, the school owes him a $15 million buyout.
