Report: Florida feels "relatively good" about winning Will Grier appeal with the NCAA
Key To The Game:
Florida's offense will have to find a way to consistenly move the ball without quarterback Will Grier, who is suspended for a year for PED usage. Backup Treon Harris does have some experience after starting six games last year and the first two this season, but he's much more of a runner with a career 53 percent completion percentage. The Gators' offense becomes far less explosive with him at the helm, but they need to control the clock and most the ball with some consistency against LSU's defense if they have any chance to winning this game.
Prediction: LSU wins 34-17
Florida has a trio of factors working against them in this one - they'll be starting their backup quarterback, they'll have to try to stop Leonard Fournette, and they're playing a night game in Death Valley, where "opponenet's dreams go to die." The Gators' undefeated season will be the latest victim.
