Four-star defensive lineman Bryan Jones gave a verbal commitment to Ole Miss two weeks ago - but that commitment is far from solid.
The Baton Rouge native is a big LSU fan and has made several unofficial visits to the school. Though he hasn't gotten a scholarship offer from the Tigers, he appears willing to flip his commitment once he gets it. He attended LSU's Bayou Picnic last weekend, so the offer may be coming soon.
“I got some good time in with the coaches while I was at the picnic,” Jones told 247sports. “I got to hang with (Cam Cameron), and he’s my main recruiter. I got to talk with (Les Miles) and (Ed Orgeron), too. They told me to just keep working hard.
“I let them know that it was an honor to be invited, and that I appreciated it. Hopefully this summer at camp I can show them how hard I’ve worked and can get that scholarship from LSU.”
The 6'5", 240-pounder is ranked as the No. 8 defensive end and No. 262 overall prospect in the country.
