We're just one day away from National Signing Day on February 3rd, which means head coach Les Miles and the LSU Tigers are focusing their efforts in hopes of delivering a great 2016 recruiting class. With that in mind, here are the latest news and rumors you need to know for LSU Football Recruiting with one day until National Signing Day.
LSU Will Keep Campbell
The Tigers had been worried about losing four-star OG Donavaughn Campbell after he took a visit to Georgia Tech over the weekend. Campbell committed to LSU on Jan. 8th, a few days before he visited LSU. But with Campbell's brother at Georgia Tech, LSU feared it could lose the talented guard. However, Campbell announced Tuesday that he is sticking with LSU. For more on Campbell, download the Chat Sports Android and iPhone app.
Clemson Still In Mix For Trayvon Mullen?
LSU has been the favorite for Mullen for much of the recruiting process, but Clemson isn't out of the running yet. According to Cory Fravel of 247Sports, Mullen is down to Clemson and LSU and hasn't yet made up his mind. LSU is still considered the favorite, but Clemson has a chance. Also in the mix is Florida State. For more on this story, check out the Chat Sports Android and iPhone app.
Kristian Fulton Down To Florida And LSU
The five-star cornerback is one of the highest-ranked uncommitted prospects in the country, and he is deciding between Florida and LSU on Signing Day. The Gators can offer Fulton immediate playing time, but LSU has the advantage with being closer to home for the Louisiana recruit. Fulton visited Florida this past week and hasn't given an indication to either side yet, per 247Sports. Fulton doesn't appear to be leaning either way at this time, making it a true toss-up on Signing Day. Download the Chat Sports Android and iPhone app to be alerted when Fulton makes his decision.
