Burrow graduated from Ohio State earlier this month, making him eligible to play right away for LSU as a graduate transfer. He still has two years of eligibility remaining.
LSU has had an ongoing quarterback battle between Myles Brennan, Justin McMillan, and Lowell Narcisse, but neither player has done anything to separate themselves or inspire any confidence from the coaching staff after the spring.
Many believe that Burrow will immediately enter the fray as the favorite to win the job if he can get their playbook down quickly.
Burrow appeared in seven games in his Ohio State career in almost exclusively mop-up duty, passing for 287 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 63 yards and another score.
