The Loyola women’s soccer team officially announced the hiring of a new assistant coach Tuesday afternoon.
After making back-to-back NCAA Tournaments, the Loyola women’s soccer team added Chris Brown as an assistant coach on head coach Barry Bimbi’s staff, according to Loyola Athletics.
Brown makes his return to Loyola’s women’s soccer program after serving as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2018 season. That season, Loyola’s coaching staff won the Missouri Valley Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.
“I want to thank Coach Bimbi and Coach [Katie] Berkopec for the opportunity to come back to Loyola and be part of this special place,” Brown said in the Loyola Athletics press realease.
