The Loyola women’s soccer team (3-3-0) lost to Oklahoma State University 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Loyola Soccer Park.
After a battle for dominance during the first half, Oklahoma State senior forward Marlo Zoller was able to sneak one past Loyola junior goalkeeper Kate Moran in the 20th minute. Moran was able to save seven of Oklahoma State’s eight shots on goal during the first half.
Oklahoma State got into foul trouble during the first 45 minutes, which led to more scoring opportunities for the Ramblers. Loyola was unable to capitalize, though, and Oklahoma State took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
