The Loyola Project, a documentary that encourages its audience to “see the film [and] start the conversation” about racial justice, made its first stop of a 63-school tour in Gentile Arena Feb. 11 with an estimated 2,000 people in attendance.
The film tells the story of the 1963 Ramblers, a team that defied racial barriers by breaking the “gentlemen’s agreement” — an unspoken rule between NCAA coaches to not have more than two black players on the court at one time.
Graduate guard Lucas Williamson, who leads the Ramblers in scoring with an average of 13.
