Chuckling under his breath, Loyola men’s volleyball head coach Mark Hulse took a pause when he was asked about Jonathan Drysdale-Anderson, a Loyola sophomore setter.
Drysdale-Anderson, 19, is a computer science major adapting to both college life and American life. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Drysdale-Anderson holds dual citizenship in both Brazil and the U.K., as his father is from the U.K. and his mom is from Brazil.
In his second season at Loyola, Drysdale-Anderson has yet to see the court but has been putting in the work behind the scenes. Hulse said that he’s grown a lot since arriving at Loyola and has inspired others on the team as well.
