After a first half that gave the Ramblers a run for their money, the Loyola men’s basketball team (21-6, 12-4) pulled ahead to secure a 59-50 victory at Illinois State University Feb. 21.
Graduate forward Aher Uguak led Loyola with 17 points as one of three Ramblers in double-digits — graduate guard Tate Hall added 11 and junior forward Tom Welch contributed 10.
The game began with a slow start in terms of scoring, with the Redbirds putting the first two points on the board within the first minute and Loyola graduate guard Lucas Williamson following up with three at 17:44.
