The Loyola men’s golf team finished 11th out of 14 in the Tom Tontimonia Invitational in Westlake, Ohio Oct. 4. This marks the second out of four invitationals in which the Ramblers have placed outside the top five.
Loyola started the day strong, finishing round one tied at second place with a score of 294. The Ramblers’ second round came to a close with 304 strokes, putting them at 598, two points ahead of Youngstown State University who scored a 600 (302-298).
The second round pushed Loyola significantly lower in the standings. The Ramblers finished day one placing ninth out of 14 before dropping to 11th on the second and final day of the competition.
