The Loyola women’s volleyball team (22-8, 16-1) won its 15th match against an Atlantic 10 (A-10) opponent, Davidson College, claiming its regular season crown for the second year in a row and only its first year in the A-10. The match went to four sets, with Loyola’s offensive and defensive performance shutting down the Wildcats.
The first set began in Davidson’s possession, with a kill from Sola Omonije for the first point of the night. The Ramblers responded to the kill with their own from senior middle blocker Taylor Venuto, to tie the score the first of five times throughout the set.
