Loyola fans are now required to show proof of vaccination in order to attend games in Gentile Arena, according to the university’s Game Day Guidelines.
Since August, fans had the option of showing proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result from within 72 hours of the game to gain entry to the arena, The Phoenix reported. However, with the city of Chicago’s new vaccine mandate for most indoor facilities, the university had to update its guidance.
Fans aged five and older will be required to show their vaccine card, and fans 16 and older must show their vaccine card and an ID that matches.
