The quarterfinal games on day two of Arch Madness kicked off with the matchup of No. 1 seed University of Northern Iowa (UNI) and No. 8 seed Illinois State University (ISU). After a close start to the game, the Panthers took off to finish with a 78-65 win.
Illinois State’s Antonio Reeves — the Valley’s top scorer in the regular season — led the game with 20 points and was the only player to score 20 or more. Three UNI players also scored in the upper teens, with AJ Green tallying 17, Noah Carter with 16 and Trae Berhow with 15.
