Loyola women’s volleyball coach, Chris Muscat, will not return as head coach next season, Loyola athletics announced in a press release. Muscat was let go as a department decision, according to the athletic department.
Muscat tallied an 82-125 record over seven seasons at Loyola. The search for a new head coach and staff will begin immediately, according to the release.
“We thank Coach Muscat for his seven years of service at Loyola and wish him well in his future endeavors,” athletic director Steve Watson said in a statement.
After going 5-24 this season, the Ramblers are expected to return everyone from the roster next season, but that may change with the shift in leadership.
