Former Loyola guard Milton Doyle is set to sign a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets Dec. 18, his agent Keith Kreiter confirmed to The PHOENIX.
A two-way contract is for players who spend most of the season in the G-League — the NBA’s equivalent of the minor leagues — and no more than 45 days with the NBA team. It’s unclear how soon Doyle will be called up to Brooklyn.
Doyle played 17 games with the Nets’ G-League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, this season. He averaged 21.7 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game in 16 starts.
