Former Ramblers men’s basketball player Marques Townes will compete in the NBA Summer League for the Chicago Bulls, his agent Keith Kreiter announced Tuesday afternoon.
“We’re thrilled for Marques,” Kreiter said in a statement to The Phoenix. “This opportunity is so well deserved and I have no doubt he’ll make a name for himself in Vegas.”
This is the second year in a row the Bulls have signed a former Rambler to their summer league squad. Last summer, Donte Ingram suited up for the Bulls, averaging 6.0 points per game over five games.
Townes, 23, is joining the Bulls after a five-year college career that saw him split time between Fairleigh Dickinson University and Loyola.
