After more than a year of construction, Loyola’s men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams can finally start practicing at the highly-anticipated Alfie Norville Practice Facility.
Loyola Athletics Director Steve Watson announced the completion of the practice facility at its official ribbon-cutting ceremony Sunday afternoon. Loyola alumnus and donor Allan Norville cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially opening the athletics building named after Norville’s late wife. The $18.5 million project finished a little over a year after construction started in May 2018.
