The Loyola men’s volleyball team (3-2) swept the Belmont Abbey Crusaders in three straight sets Jan. 21 to continue its four-game homestand.
Loyola came into their two-game weekend off a two-game win streak. After a week of preparing for another quick turnaround, the Ramblers were locked in and ready to roll during their early afternoon match.
“We’re happy we got the opportunity to play [Belmont Abbey] this year, I think that’s a team we will play volleyball against in May,” Loyola head coach Mark Hulse said. “We stuck with it, just trying to find some belief in what we were doing and some trust in what we’re doing and the process.
