Loyola Survives Late Bradley Run, Seals No. 2 Seed at Arch Madness

The Loyola men’s basketball team (21-10, 13-5) held off Bradley University’s second-half comeback with a 67-66 victory. The Ramblers locked up the No. 2 seed at the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) tournament with the win and could still clinch a share of the MVC regular-season title if the University of Northern Iowa loses tonight.

The Braves were in a position to win the game despite trailing by 11 points at halftime. Bradley went on a 20-0 run in the second half to take a 56-49 lead over the Ramblers with 9:10 remaining in the game. Loyola responded with a 9-0 run of its own, and the two teams were back-and-forth for the rest of the game.
