The Loyola men’s basketball team (1-2) shot 42.6 percent from the field as it fell to Coppin State University 76-72 at Gentile Arena Tuesday night.
The Ramblers were led in scoring by junior forward Tate Hall who put up 23 points to go along with two assists and five rebounds.
Loyola led 38-31 at halftime, but the Eagles outscored the Ramblers 45-34 in the second half to come out on top.
Loyola is set to continue a three-game homestand against Saint Joseph University Nov. 16. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago+.
