Loyola Athletics named Allison Guth as the head coach of the Loyola women’s basketball program in a press release April 8. Guth will become the 10th head coach in program history following the departure of former head coach Kate Achter March 24.
This won’t be Guth’s first time in Rogers Park as she served as an assistant coach for the team from 2005 to 2007. She returns to Loyola after spending the past seven years as the women’s basketball head coach at Yale University.
“We are thrilled to welcome Allison Guth back to Loyola and back home to Chicago,” Loyola Athletic Director Steve Watson said in a press release.
