The Loyola men’s basketball team (1-0) defeated University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) 76-45 at Gentile Arena in its first game of the 2018-19 season Tuesday night.
Fans were lining up for the 8 p.m. start time as early as 5:15 p.m., and lines went from Gentile to outside the Damen Student Center. Attendance for the game was 3,795, a large increase from last year’s home opener, which was 2,814. After the game, head coach Porter Moser said he was excited about how full the stands were.
This is just the outside pet of the line not even inside Damen.
