Loyola Athletics Director (AD) Steve Watson named Holly Strauss-O’Brien as his new Deputy AD Wednesday afternoon.
Strauss-O’Brien comes to Loyola after serving as the Deputy AD at University of Hartford last year. She replaces Jermaine Truax, who’s set to take over as Director of Athletics and Recreation at Bucknell University this coming school year.
“I would like to thank Steve Watson for giving me the opportunity to work at a special place like Loyola University Chicago,” Strauss-O’Brien said in a statement. “It truly is an honor to join Steve’s leadership team and to help achieve his inspiring vision for Loyola Athletics.
