Coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, the Loyola men’s basketball team will have to rely on an almost entirely new starting lineup in its first season in the Atlantic 10 (A-10). The Ramblers will face a host of challenging teams with a revamped roster in the 2022-2023 season.
After posting a 25-8 record in the 2021-2022 season, Loyola was ranked fourth in the A-10 preseason poll Oct. 13. Despite its record, Loyola’s placing was lowered in the poll because of the Missouri Valley Conference’s (MVC) rank as the 15th-hardest conference to play in while the A-10 is ranked 10th, according to the most recent RPI rankings.
