Despite a quick start, the Loyola men’s basketball (3-1) team fell short and lost to No. 12 University of Wisconsin-Madison 77-63 at the Kohl Center in Madison Dec. 15.
Senior center Cameron Krutwig’s 19 points and five rebounds wasn’t a match for the Badger’s frontcourt. Four Wisconsin players scored in double digits, while Krutwig and senior guard Lucas Williamson were the only ones to do so for the Ramblers.
The Ramblers did however out-rebound the Badgers 35-32, with Krutwig, Williamson, redshirt senior guard Tate Hall and redshirt sophomore guard Braden Norris all grabbing five boards.
