For the second consecutive day, the Loyola men’s basketball team (15-3, 10-1) went into JQH Arena and beat Missouri State University by at least 20 points. Senior center Cameron Krutwig led the Ramblers with 19 points, five rebounds and five assists in the 70-50 Feb. 1 victory.
The Ramblers faced off against the Bears on back-to-back days in the same location as part of the new scheduling format for the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) to limit travel and potential exposure to COVID-19.
After the second game, Loyola head coach Porter Moser raved about Krutwig’s impact on both sides of the ball in the two wins over the Bears.
