The Loyola men’s basketball team (2-0) secured another solid victory in its second game of the season Dec. 9, winning 88-51 over Chicago State University.
Senior center Cameron Krutwig was a vital scorer for the Ramblers, leading the team with 22 points on 10-for-13 shooting. Redshirt senior guard Tate Hall followed with 15.
“Obviously there was a really big mismatch down low as far as the height,” Krutwig said. “Just finding ways to seal dudes off … having a good mentality going from the start of the game.”
Krutwig held the advantage for the Ramblers in size compared to Chicago State, measuring up at 6-foot-9 and 255 pounds.
