As the COVID-19 pandemic persists in Chicago and beyond, Loyola Athletics has continued to enforce protocol to ensure the health and wellbeing of its athletes and the overall Loyola community.

Although Loyola has kept protocols in place for athletes since they returned to play this spring, they have adapted to the current state of public health in the city, with one of the biggest changes being how often members of athletics are required to get COVID-19 tested.

During the spring season, athletes were required to test three times a week in order to monitor their health and catch COVID-19 cases before they spread to other players at Loyola and their competitors.
