After suffering its first home non-conference loss since 2015 Nov. 9, the Loyola men’s basketball team (2-1) bounced back to defeat Niagara University 75-62 at Gentile Arena Wednesday night. The game was the Ramblers’ first of the Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament, which starts with two games at campus sites before moving to Fort Myers, Florida Nov. 19-21.
Sophomore center Cameron Krutwig led the Ramblers in scoring with 18 points while shooting a perfect 7-of-7 from the field. Through the first three games of the season, Krutwig has 37 points on 15-of-15 shooting.
“My teammates are giving me good looks … I’m just getting layups and getting to my hook [shot],” Krutwig said.
