The Loyola men’s basketball team (9-6, 2-0) is set to play in front of a capacity crowd at Gentile Arena for the fourth time this season Jan. 27.
The Ramblers’ game against Southern Illinois University is officially sold out, according to the Loyola Athletics website. Two other Loyola home games — against then-No. 5 University of Nevada Nov. 27 and an upcoming game against Illinois State University Jan. 12 — sold out before the season began. The arena hit its full capacity of 4,963 fans when the Ramblers lost to Furman University 60-58 Nov.
