A 3-1 loss against University of Illinois and a 6-0 loss against Kansas University are currently the only two scores the Loyola women’s soccer team has under its belt this season. While that might worry some people, I’m not scared — and I’m going to tell you why.
Let’s start with the biggest road bump for the team. Before the season was set to start, former starter senior goalkeeper Kate Moran tore her ACL and would be out for the season.
The injury closed the door for Moran, but opened the door for the three other goalkeepers — first-year Grace Droessler, sophomore Maddie Hausmann and junior Rhadika Patel.
