After two seasons on the Loyola men’s basketball roster, sophomore Christian Negron has taken to Twitter to announce he’s leaving the program “to [go] somewhere that is a better situation for my personal goals and desires,” Negron said in the Tweet.

Negron played in 17 games and added one point and 0.8 rebounds per game in his first season after missing the first three games due to an offseason ACL injury. He played in 28 games his sophomore season — including two starts — and added 2.0 points and 2.
