Chiefs, star DT Chris Jones reach four-year, $85 million deal, sources say

The Kansas City Chiefs and defensive tackle Chris Jones have reached agreement on a four-year, $85 million contract, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The contract includes $60 million guaranteed, a source told Schefter.

The Chiefs and Jones, who received the team's franchise tag, had until Wednesday's deadline to agree to a long-term contract.

Earlier this month, tweeting a reply to an NFL Network video on his contract talks, Jones had hinted he would hold out unless he had received a long-term deal.

Jones, 26, led the Chiefs in sacks in each of the last two seasons.
