The Loyola women’s volleyball team (25-8, 17-1) is on its way to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005 under Head Coach Marcie Wolbeck. After beating the University of Dayton in four sets Nov. 20, Loyola won the Atlantic 10 (A-10) championship in just its first season as a member of the conference.
The Ramblers were selected to play No. 16 University of Kentucky during the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship Selection Show Nov. 27. The match will take place on Kentucky’s home court in Lexington, Kentucky on Dec. 1.
Loyola has had a record-breaking season, going on a 14-game win streak, breaking the program’s previous record set at 13 under Head Coach Liz Tortorello-Nelson in 2002.
